I had a decent experience at this hotel! the location was super convenient, just a short stroll to local shops and nice eateries, making it easy to grab a bite or enjoy some leisure time. the beds were surprisingly comfy, and I appreciated the housekeeping service - everything was clean and tidy. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful when I needed assistance.
There were a couple of things that could use some improvement. the room had a strong smell that lingered a bit too long, and I think a little more attention to air quality would be a nice touch.

Decent size and compact unit with a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and refrigerators. Magnificent views of the sea all around. Perfect setting, just off shops and marina, and Main Street eating places.

I spent 7 nights and would return there. Everything was great, pleasant staff, lovely views of the sea. Comforts of queen room were fabulous - a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a microwave and a refrigerator. The pool area was good and the location was great and incredibly comfortable, close to Salamander Bay and Shoal Bay as well as marina restaurants cafes and cruise. Pizzeria Domino's Pizza was located 15 minutes walk away.

The balcony was very small I would not stay there for a longer trip as the balcony was not really usable space

My husband & myself stayed at Port Stephens Motor Lodge in March 2012 to visit family and again in June 2012. We both enjoyed the hotel and the staff who are very nice and helpful. The motel is very central to all of the amendies of Nelson Bay as well as being quiet. Will definately stay again.
Liked it all.
